PIERCING AFTERCARE
- Clean your hands before touching your piercing.
- Clean twice a day using water-based saline solution and a cotton bud to clean your piercing then dry afterwards.
- Avoid touching, picking, twisting/rotatingand moving your piercing.
- Don’t sleep on your piercing.
- Avoid swimming pools/open water until healed
- Avoid wearing headbands and hats until healed.
- Downsizing jewellery is important once swelling subsides.
- Look out for any sign of infection – any swelling, scabbing, or pussing. If in doubt contact us.
- Be patient – healing can take up to 12 months.
